Cosy and still vast rural and polderlandscapes are combined with the modern and historic architecture of the city of Rotterdam in miniature, including the largest indoor miniature port of Europe. Let us surprise you!
Visitors can see how parts of the layout are built in the open workshop. In the commandcentre visitors can see how the modellayout is controlled. With tours behind the scenes you can visit parts of the modelrailroad that are normally not accessible for visitors.
We are working on a 190 m² expansion of the miniature world with the theme of Great Britain. This multi-year monster project is the largest expansion of the attraction since 2009. Read more about it on the dedicated Great Britain page.
| Every 24 minutes night falls in our miniature world in a sequence of beautiful evening- and morningcolours by dimming the lights in the exhibitionhall. Thousands of miniature bulbs light up the nightly landscape in and around thousands of modelbuildings. |  |

| The suburbs of Rotterdam, like for instance Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Capelle aan de IJssel, Hoogvliet en Spijkenisse all have been an inspiration for this extraordinarily busy bit of the miniature world. In our suburbs the so called "Havenspoorlijn" (port railwayline) from our miniature Port merge with the main railwaytrack to our Rotterdam Central Station in miniature. In this town you also find a RET metroline and just outside of town is the High Speed Train (HSL). | |
